Your competent partner in winding technology! Developer and Managing Director Gerd Janssen presents the new SW-Class in June 2020. Supertek develops and manufactures machines and automation solutions for the industry for winding wires and fibers. Supertek GmbH was founded in 2005 by Gerd Janssen in his home town of Emden in Germany. While still studying electrical engineering, he developed and patented a revolutionary wire tension control system, the electromagnetic dancer and won the Germany Startup Prize. In 2008, the electromagnetic dancer was presented in a electronic rewinding system at the Wire trade fair in Düsseldorf. The world novelty was so convincing and inspiring that the rush at the trade fair could hardly be managed. The consistent further development of high-precision spooling machines made Supertek the technological market leader in winding systems for the finest wires and optical fibers.
