I always wanted to follow my passion and help as many people as I can, and improve as many lives as possible. Our story began in 1975 when a group of orthotists founded the business with the aim to provide orthotic products and services. Over a number of years the business evolved, and the focus was shifted from orthotics to assistive technology which was a new and upcoming sector in Australia. The business went through a major change when Rhonda and Iain Hogg acquired the company in 2000. Quickly renaming it Specialised Wheelchair Company to better describe what the company does best. They have been running Specialised Wheelchair Company as a family business since. The rest is history.
