Dr. Ashkan Tajeddini graduated from Western University of Health Sciences, College of Dental Medicine in Pomona, CA, with high distinctions. During his time there, he was awarded the International College of Dentists Humanitarian Award and the Hispanic Dental Association Foundation Colgate Scholarship. His commitment to community service was evident as he organized monthly homeless dinners at a local church and provided oral hygiene products to the needy. As the local outreach chair for the Hispanic Student Dental Association, he played a key role in screening community members for oral health issues. His academic excellence led to his induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, marking him as one of the top 10 graduates in his class.
Post-graduation, Dr. Ashkan enhanced his dental expertise through an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at East Carolina University, School of Dental Medicine. This residency equipped him with the latest skills in implant placement and restoration, various surgical procedures including wisdom teeth extraction, and advanced techniques in endodontics (root canals). He is also Invisalign certified, offering modern orthodontic solutions like clear aligners. Beyond his professional life, Dr. Ashkan is passionate about dentistry, technology, and the automotive industry, contributing numerous volunteer hours in dental support and provision. After completing his residency, he pursued his career in the Triad area, with a long-term aspiration to establish himself in the Cary, NC area.
