Electrical flexibility is a path that starts from the exact knowledge of one's consumption profile and through programming and efficiency allows, at first, to optimize the energy withdrawal from the grid and the optimization of supply conditions. This creates the conditions for our POD to decrease or increase (of withdrawal) without interrupting the consumption process of a calculable percentage (called “electric flexibility”) based on Terna's requests in the balancing market. This will happen as soon as European states adopt and implement the European directive 944 of 2019 which brings consumption into the dispatching market for grid balancing.
