Tom had spent the previous 5 years with a global window film manufacturer, providing support to the UK window film industry. Growing from a sole trader to a limited company with nationwide and international reach, and installation capabilities. Increasing capacity by employing multiple members of staff and investing in the future by training up apprentices. Cementing our place within the window film industry, via partnerships, trade association memberships and accreditations, ground breaking initiatives such as clearly safe, and special projects in the pipeline, watch this space! James has been with Solar Sentry since its beginnings and is now the managing director of Solar Sentry and has a deep knowledge of film and their solutions. Backed up by the rest of the team, we all aim to provide great service, backed up by high quality products from trusted manufacturers. By communicating effectively with our customers we aim to provide the best solution for their needs. James loves anything to do with tech and has a slightly unhealthy obsession with lego Joining the company in 2017 and learning the ropes from Tom, Jon is our lead installer. With an enthusiasm for cars and working in previous sales roles, as well as training as a mechanic Jon has a hands on approach to his role. He is an affable individual who is popular with our customers and delivers a customer centric install (and gets brilliant reviews). Joe joined the business in 2022 and has quickly become an integral part of the installation team. He joined Solar Sentry from a background of building works and landscaping, so his experience working in building site situations and his attention to detail is invaluable. In his spare time, Joe is an avid gamer, loving all things, D&D, LARP, anime and video games. Hannah joined the company in 2024 to run the office. She will often be the first line of contact with our customers and is always on hand to offer friendly and knowledgeable assistance. She also oversees the weekly calendar and makes sure the install teams know where they need to be. Hannah spends her time with her husband and their two young daughters making memories, whilst also having her own menagerie of pets. She likes to keep fit by playing Netball as GD and has completed a Tough Mudder run in aid of Mind! Tom is the founder of Solar Sentry Window Films, who sadly passed away in November 2023. The company continues as a living legacy, to continue his mission to provide people solutions to glazing issues that window film can solve. His passion and knowledge was absorbed by the rest of the team through numerous years working together.
