Dr. Monica is a board certified orthodontist and recipient of the prestigious Shepard Award of Distinction for securing 1st rank nation-wide in the American Board of Orthodontics certification examination. This exam tests the diagnostic and clinical skills of orthodontists, and is taken by graduating students and practicing orthodontists in the USA as a requirement of the board certification process, which lets us truly say that she is one of the best in the country! Dr. Monica graduated with high honors from the University of Pennsylvania Dental School, with a GPA of 4.0, ranked 1st in her class, and received The National Board Achievement Award for her outstanding performance on the Dental Boards. She went on to complete specialization in Orthodontics at Columbia University, and has been a faculty at the Columbia University Orthodontic Department since 2001.
