Skyward Active Health Centre

Skyward Active Health Centre opened in May 2015 and has a fantastic team of therapists and support staff to assist Mallorytown and the surrounding communities in making health a priority. Whether we are rehabilitating an injury, exercising in the gym or discussing a nutrition program, Skyward staff will provide you with the professional advice, knowledge and support you need and deserve. We love being part of this community and will support you in any way we can.  We offer a variety of services including physiotherapy, massage therapy, pedorthic services, nutrition coaching, personal training, reflexology and event coverage. We specifically have extra training in concussion rehabilitation, dry needling and vestibular therapy/dizziness. Skyward also has a fully equipped gym that has yoga, strength & conditioning classes and personal training available.  Skyward Active Health Centre is owned and operated by Shannon Morrison. She has been a physiotherapist for the past 21 years and was the previous co-owner of Podium Sports Therapy Clinic, which she founded in 2006. Her background is in sports physiotherapy with a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy (Australia) and a Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy (Canada). She has been part of the medical teams at the 2006 Commonwealth Games, 2009 Canada Summer Games, 2010 Olympic Winter Games, 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup and Para Pan Am Games in addition to spending five summers with the National Senior Women's Basketball team (2007-2011).  VISION We will strive to empower our clients to lead a healthy lifestyle by providing them with a multidisciplinary approach through exercise, nutrition and injury rehabilitation. We will also strive to accept clients within one week, have 75% of clients discharged within eight weeks and assist them in leading an active lifestyle.  MISSION To be the cornerstone of rehabilitation and exercise in Leeds and Grenville, by developing individualized, multidisciplinary treatment programs in addition to providing the community with a place to exercise and improve their overall health.
