Simrad Sonichub is a marine audio server with a waterproof dock. Full iPod, iPhone, and MP3 compatibility, all controlled from the Simrad display. Connected directly to a compatible Simrad display or a SimNet onboard network, the SonicHub™ allows the user to control their onboard music components from the helm or other parts of the boat. A fully waterproof dock connects an iPod or MP3 player to the SonicHub™, keeping it protected and secure. Input lines allow control of a CD/DVD/radio player and Sirius marine weather satellite radio (USA only). Convenient and versatile, the Simrad SonicHub™ adds a new world of entertainment and functionality to Simrad's networked navigation systems. High-quality design and construction specifically developed by Simrad for the marine environment. Complete integration with Simrad NSE multifunction display using NMEA 2000®/SimNet. The result is simple menu controls on the waterproof, high-resolution color screen of the Simrad NSE, and there's no need for a separate stereo head unit. The state of the art SonicHub is displayed at the bottom of the screen when activated. The unit contains a four-channel x 50-watt speaker amplifier and AM/FM stereo tuner. Line-out to subwoofer for added bass. Excellent sound quality. Numerous audio source inputs, including Apple products, other MP3 sources via USB port, and flash drives. AUX line input for CD/DVD/MP3 source. Mono line input for intercom, alarm, and emergency. Music control for up to three separate zones. Built-in module for SIRIUS marine weather satellite radio service (USA only). The SonicHub is ideal for boats of all types up to 45 feet.
