Jim Carpenter is a fine example of what Simplex is all about when it comes to employees – dedicate yourself to your customers and to providing quality, and you will rise in the company. Jim is a 20 year veteran of Simplex. He spent 6 years in production, 12 years as a Quality Control specialist and Quality Control manager and 2 years now in purchasing. As a Simplex Purchasing Agent, he is responsible for sourcing and ordering many of the individual products and components that go into Simplex projects. He is also responsible for insuring production workers and craftsmen have a ready supply of their most commonly used materials, and with two very busy production facilities to watch over, that’s no small task. Jim is a graduate of Johnson College with a Degree in Building Construction Technology as well as the Penn College Modular Training Institute. An avid family man and woodworker, Jim also enjoys camping, volunteering with the Minooka Cal Ripkin baseball and softball teams and following the hometown Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins Hockey team.
