SimAbility

I’m Glenn Sidman. I run this passion project out of my garage. It isn’t profitable (I have a day job for that.), but my goal is to help sim racers with disabilities find new enjoyment. The journey started in 2014 with this project for my son with cerebral palsy, Jacob. Note: This personal project is not representative of any SimAbility product. Values Selflessness Accommodation Craftsmanship Cooperation Mission I help sim racers with disabilities by providing accessible controls for force-feedback racing wheels. I can also supply a limited number of setups for events like expos and esports races. Vision My vision is to make sim racing an accessible hobby and esport for people with disabilities. Creating hand controls for force-feedback wheels is just the beginning. The ultimate goal, above all else, is to inspire others. I intend to expand SimAbility’s reach by partnering with helpful people with an interest in furthering the cause. Maybe hand controls will be offered by major wheel manufacturers someday. (Clutch paddles with gas/brake modes are becoming mainstream, and that’s great to see!) I am committed to bringing joy to people’s lives, regardless of profit.
