Like the “slow food” movement of eating local and responsibly sourced food, Silver Needle & Thread HOME is on the cutting edge of the “slow textile” and "real furniture" movement advocating cleaner, healthier living using only fair traded, natural, organic and sustainable materials for Design and Home Decor. For many years we have supported, collaborated and worked with the Texas Organic Cotton Marketing Cooperative in Lubbock, TX and offer fabrics created from their fields. We offer a huge selection of embroideries, hand painted, crewel's, hand color blocked, digitally printed, hand loomed and small batch naturally dyed fabrics. Our Peruvian line of handcrafted throw pillow covers and rugs are created by women of the Andes to represent several villages preserving their cultural heritage. You can also discover African, Indian, Cambodian, Indonesian and other cultural textiles.
