Silgem s.r.l. is a young company that was established in 2001, extending a family experience of over 20 years in the field of elastomers. The experience gained over these years is also the result of the owners' direct involvement in production, starting as a family artisan business. This has allowed for real experience in injection and compression molding, contributing to the training of personnel, and has led the company to operate as a certified business, specializing more and more in the production of technical items in silicone rubber. We have chosen to mold silicone because we believe in the properties of this material; silicone can be both conductive and anti-static, colored or transparent. Furthermore, HTV (High Temperature Vulcanization) silicone and PTS (Platinum) resist high temperatures much better than other elastomers, making them suitable for applications requiring resistance to ozone and atmospheric agents, thus for outdoor use. The hardness is measured with the Shore A scale and ranges from 20 sh.A to 80 sh.A. The company, which operates in the field of silicone and rubber molding, is the ideal partner for those seeking experience in processing and customer care. The production, carried out in our Val Della Torre (To) facility, is aimed at the realization of technical items in SILICONE RUBBER (HTV), peroxide or platinum, and in NBR, VITON, EPDM, SBR, NEOPRENE, and NATURAL RUBBER, made with injection molding using both horizontal and vertical machines and various trimming systems. Simple seals such as O-Rings but especially seals designed such as sealing rings, caps, membranes, valves, lamp holders, cable glands, rubber grommets, bellows, anti-vibration mounts, feet, suction cups, sleeves, knobs, silicone molds, and any other type of support.
