SiLi – Sigmund Lindner GmbH – Since generations proven In 1854, SiLi was founded by Sigmund Lindner. Today, we operate as a family-owned business in the 5th generation as one of the most significant manufacturers and distributors of technical glass and ceramic balls as well as effect glitter. More than 160 years of experience and our constant willingness to innovate give us the confidence to continue to provide the highest benefit and best quality for our customers in the future. Our highly specialized products are known under the names SiLibeads and SiLiglit. The development of the products and the constant optimization of the complex production processes have always taken place at the company's headquarters in Warmensteinach/Bavaria. A global export network guarantees the delivery of SiLibeads ceramic balls, SiLibeads glass balls, and SiLiglit to over 80 countries, with our own sales offices in England and France, as well as subsidiaries in the USA, China, and Russia, reflecting our steadily growing international presence. As a global player in niche markets for technical glass and ceramic balls as well as effect glitter, we are primarily committed to one goal: to be as close as possible to our customers. As a family-run medium-sized company with more than 160 years of tradition, it is our declared goal to leave a livable environment for future generations. Sustainability and innovation go hand in hand: Since July 2020, we have been using 100% renewable energy at our locations in Warmensteinach; special wastewater centrifuges process our process water so that we can largely avoid the use of valuable fresh water in the production of our products. We are proud to make a significant contribution to more sustainability with future-oriented products and services, as well as their constant further development, and to promote a more conscious approach to the finite resources of our planet. Our commitment to sustainability is also reflected in our management systems according to ISO 50001 for energy (certified since 2017) and ISO 14001 for the environment.
