Shuting Qiu

Shuting Qiu, a designer from China now residing in Shanghai, holds an MA and BA in Fashion from the Royal Academy in Antwerp. Her label embodies a refined femininity, showcasing a “modern romantic” archetype – bold, self-reliant, yet inherently delicate. Qiu’s creations dare to venture into asymmetry and silhouette experimentation, resulting in a vibrant clash of silk jacquards, elaborate embroideries, and a harmony of linear and floral motifs. Drawing inspiration from art, literature, cinema, and her voyages, Qiu places a strong emphasis on sustainability. Over 60% of her collection’s foundational fabrics are sustainably sourced. In collaboration with artisans from Hangzhou, her birthplace, she creatively repurposes recycled materials into elaborate floral designs. Qiu’s brand aims to empower women, celebrating their complexity and elegance, all while championing sustainable innovation and the rich craftsmanship of Hangzhou.
