Sherborne Turf has been growing and harvesting premium turf in Dorset since the 1970’s. Read about our 50 year history here. We have developed our own seed mixes and grow our high quality turf over an 18 month period without the use of plastic netting, providing an eco friendly and quality product. By growing the turf plastic netting free the product has a strong root mat, meaning the turf will establish more quickly in your garden. We are proud members of the Turfgrass Growers Association (TGA), so you know our grass is grown to the highest trade standards. Our premium turf is cut to order and delivered using our own vehicles and experienced drivers. Delivery vehicles include an articulated tractor unit with trailer and removable forklift to manoeuvre the pallets, a rigid 6-wheel lorry, a HIAB grab lorry with crane off-load and an truck and trailer for those very tricky little spots. While the trade standard for delivery is ‘kerb-side’, we realise that this is not always practical for our customers, and so our drivers always endeavour to place the items as conveniently as possible for you, a service which is often not provided by other companies. As part of Sherborne Turf’s ongoing desire to provide a complete service for its customers additional products have gradually been introduced to the portfolio, and the full range of products now includes high quality topsoil, compost, bark, mulch, dressing, fertiliser, wildflower seeds, irrigation equipment, rakes, pegs, landscape fabrics, hand tools and many more garden essentials. Our garden machinery range is based on years of professional landscaping experience, we will not sell you anything that isn’t suitable for the job you require the machine for. We can supply anything from low budget domestic machines through to professional estate maintenance equipment. Come down to our showroom to explore what we have on offer. We regret we no longer offer servicing and repairs on all garden machinery, but we do still support the EGO Power + range including warranty repair work.
