Sheen Lions Football Club

Sheen Lions football club is an FA Charter Standard football club in the Sheen, Richmond, Kew, Roehampton area of Southwest London. We are affiliated to the Surrey County FA and we provide coaching and organised match programmes for around 450 local children from the age of 5 to 18 years. For the 2024-25 season we have twenty seven football teams representing the Club at all levels in the Surrey Youth League and three teams in the Surrey County Woman’s and Girls League. We also have our U5, U6 and U7 development squads and “training only” squads in many age groups. As part of our long term plan Sheen Lions became a Registered Charity (no. 1123930) in May 2008. In December 2009 Sheen Lions was awarded Charter Standard Club status by The FA. By taking these steps we will have more resources available to offer the best possible youth football experience in our local community whilst making sure we are fully in tune with The FA’s youth football requirements. We have entered into a partnership agreement with Queens Park Rangers providing further benefits to Sheen Lions players, coaches and parents. This initiative is one of several marking the Club’s 25-year anniversary in 2011.
