Every product that we manufacture is an extension or node of another product. From Perceiving a product at its nascent stage to making them Million Dollar brands, we have done it all and over and over again. Second P is people – which is core to our Business. Third P is Process, as we continue to be a process drive organisation. Ethical sourcing, Robust Manufacturing and process driven work helps us to make standardised products. At Setner, we are committed towards Women Empowerment, we don’t just say it, we do it every day. 75% of our Workforce are women. Setner works closely with Self Help Groups to empower them by providing employment opportunities. We work closely with Rural women by providing them training, machines, space and opportunities. As a pilot project, Setner Partnered with 50 women in a remote village in Bihar and offered them employment. When we created ORKA Bean Bags, it was a complete surprise to us. The brand started in boutiques, then expanded into retail stores across the Countries and later came online. Today our unique collection includes 100+ Brands & Products. We are a team of designers, engineers and business people. Setner was incorporated on 10th Dec 2008 from a 100 Sq Feet Room in Bylanes of Indiranagar, Bangalore. Our Founder Chandan was assisting a British Client set up a Pet Store in England by manufacturing some Pet Bean Bags. Bangalore was just opening up to Apartments and a new Urban Lifestyle. Chandan Saw it as an opportunity to launch Branded Bean Bags in India under the price point of 999 which could match Aspiration and Affordability. Hence, ORKA Bean Bags was launched. Purchase of first Factory in Bangalore and setting up Just in Time Manufacturing Process. Setner established an in-house Petrochemical plant and started manufacturing EPS products that would integrate with Bean Bags. Candy Beans is launched with national supply chain. SETNER purchases second Factory to expand its exponentially growing business. SETNER establishes Warehouses in Noida, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Mumbai to strengthen its supply chain and last-mile delivery. ORKA Travel is born, a brand focused in manufacturing Travel Accessories. SETNER partners with Green Gold Licensing for their brand Chota Bheem. SETNER partners with Kids Licensing Brands Ben 10 & Cartoon Network for licensed merchandise. SETNER partners with Disney to launch licensed merchandise of Disney, Star Wars, Pixar & Marvel. SETNER launches PrimRose, a brand launched Exclusively for Sofas and Ottomans. OrkaSleep is Born. SETNER Launches its premium Brand - Big Sac. SETNER moves to its massive 2 Acres Campus in the Industrial area bringing all its process, verticals and operations under one roof. SETNER starts production for Back packs and Luggage Accessories.
