Our core activity is the production of coatings for plasterers and painters. Innovation has been a part of our DNA since 1838. Our primary goal is to create technical solutions that make installation easier and save time on construction sites. We have a revenue of 240 million euros, 40% of which is generated internationally in over 70 countries. Our strategy is centred on the customer. The close proximity of our teams in the field, combined with our flexibility and responsiveness, greatly contributes to our competitiveness. Accelerating our international development will be a major challenge for us in the coming years. Within the next five years, we hope to increase our international business share to 50%. These developments are part of a strong desire to grow in a sustainable manner by promoting short supply chains and minimising our environmental impact as much as possible. 1838 Jean-Baptiste Laurent SEMIN introduces plaster production. 1980 Philippe SEMIN takes over the family business, which then had only seven employees. 1998 A second production unit is set up near Perpignan, in Espira de l'Agly, to meet the needs of the southern European and North African markets. 2008 Following high demand a third production plant and a training centre are set up in Amblainville, near Paris. 2017 Arrival of Caroline SEMIN to the position of General Manager. 2022 SEMIN is operating in 72 countries and generates 40% of its revenue through exports.
