After years of riding twins from Ducati to Norton on the open roads Peter de Reus started racing on a Honda CB450. The bike was purchased from a friend as an unfinished project, this was a relatively cheap way to start. The cheap way was history soon when a Drixton rolling chassis was purchased from John Davies. Never reached the podium due to poor talent of the racing driver, but it was and still is a lot of fun. And that’s exactly what it’s all about at Sea Bee Motorcycles. Buying parts and complete CB450 / 500T bikes to keep the racer going resulted in a substantial stock.Instead of keeping the parts on the shelfs we started to build bikes, sometimes as cafe racer and, when possible, we’re building standard bikes.
