Our company was established in 1991 under the name Sangtong Watthanakit Co., Ltd. with a registered capital of 1,000,000 THB by Khun Prakit and Khun Phitsamon Sowikun. We conducted wholesale construction material business for small and medium-sized construction entities, with clients being general contractors, both Thai and foreign companies investing in Thailand, mostly Japanese companies. As our business strengthened over time, in 1996, we registered an increased capital of 5,000,000 THB and changed our name to Sangtong Homemart Co., Ltd. In March 2002, we were contacted by Thai Cement Marketing Co., Ltd. to become a distributor of products under the Thai Cement group. This opportunity is well-known in the construction material trade as Thai Cement is the largest producer and trader of construction materials in the country. We responded positively to become a distributor for Thai Cement in March 2002 and were appointed in September 2002. We spent 6 months testing to become a distributor of the Thai Cement group, and in the first year, we received the excellent distributor award, which we have continuously received since then, confirming that we made the right decision to partner with Thai Cement.
