Swift water rescue environment is completely different from any other rescue environment people usually know. It is difficult to survive swift water environment without knowledge and training. Common sense is usually going well out of the water, but we almost always do wrong in swift water environment. Without the understanding of this environment rules, it will extremely difficult to rescue ourselves or others from running water. It is important to understand the intensity of the currents and the hydrodynamics streams in the river, this knowledge alone can prevent dangerous of entering the water and prevent the risk of life.
