Then we would be happy to share with you what is important to us. Some products do not require packaging, others need to be protected by suitable packaging – such as our sea salt. It is important to us that this packaging is recyclable. This means that they continue to be part of the value chain for longer and help to reduce waste.  Around 90% of AQUASALE sea salt packaging is already made from a mono-material, which is recyclable. Over 50% of the packaging is made from cardboard, which is made from renewable raw materials and is also recyclable. We take responsibility for the benefit of future generations by using sustainable packaging solutions. In doing so, we support and promote the circular economy without compromising product protection and product quality. We use paper whenever possible, plastic whenever necessary and glass when our brand philosophy requires it. By 2025, 100% of packaging will be recyclable or reusable. 100% of the paper we use for primary packaging comes from sustainable forestry. Our outer packaging and secondary placement units, which protect our products on their way to retailers and present them on site, are still made from 100% recycled cardboard. We only use mono-material packaging, i.e. unmixed packaging made from just one type of plastic. This can be recycled and reused for new plastic packaging. We avoid packaging made from non-recyclable materials and consider using recyclates whenever possible. Over 90 % of AQUASALE sea salt packs are made of a mono-material and are recyclable. Our refillable packaging also helps to protect the environment. 100% of our packaging is recyclable or reusable.
