S.C. FIBREXNYLON S.A.

Located in north-eastern Romania, in Neamt County, the Industrial Platform S.C. FIBREXNYLON S.A. Savinești – a member company of the RADICI Group Italia – was designed and built in the 1950s on a total area of approx. 171 hectares as an integrated chemical platform, starting from the processing of phenol as a basic raw material and up to the production of synthetic yarns and fibers. After 2000, due to the unwanted decline of the Romanian chemical industry as well as the large fluctuations on the international market, the productive activities of the Chemical Division were stopped and the installations were preserved for a later restart. When it became very clear that the situation of the chemical industry was not improving, the chemical installations as well as those adjacent to the production were definitively stopped, the production activity of synthetic yarns and fibers being transferred to the newly created company YARNEA S.R.L., a company dedicated exclusively to the production of textile yarns, industrial yarns and cord networks. Thus, after a period of reorganization and restructuring, land, industrial spaces, production spaces, storage spaces and office spaces resulted that are no longer used by S.C. FIBREXNYLON S.A. for its current activities.
