Plaster Mouldings are room adornments, dating back over 9,000 years, and were originally found in Anatolia and Syria. The Egyptians were the first race to realise the full extent of uses for plaster mouldings, creating such wonders as the Cheops Pyramid.
Over the years, plaster mouldings developed into an adornment for housing and rooms. The most popular being Coving. Coving or Cornicing is the process of fixing ornate plaster mouldings around the join between the ceiling and the walls as a way of both joining the two, and also as a way of extending the design styling of a room or house.

Regency Mouldings Ltd is a family run business based in Somerset in the South West of the UK. Formed in 1986 by Mr Barry Nicholson and initially specialising in the restoration of ornamental plaster ceilings, lime plastering and the reproduction of period pieces.
Over the years we have amassed a large range of authentic plaster mouldings such as cornices, ceiling centres, corbels, dado rails and various other products that we now bring to you in our online shop.
