Raineri Giovanni & C snc was founded in 1973 in Zocco D’Erbusco, where it still has its main headquarters. To start this activity, Raineri Antonio began with his wife Cavalleri Teresa, who unfortunately passed away from cancer in 1982. Antonio and Teresa built a business based on the direct sale to the public of feed and agricultural products. Father of five children, with constancy, commitment, and the help of these last ones, Antonio continued to exercise the activity of a trader, gradually expanding according to customer needs. In 1995, the four siblings Giovanni, Celestina, Giuseppe, and Evelina decided to create the company changing from Raineri Antonio to Raineri Giovanni & C snc, thus becoming partners. Subsequently, a warehouse was acquired for the storage of cereals and products to sell within the store because the number of customers had obviously grown, consequently, the goods had increased, and there was a need for larger spaces to store them. Giovanni and Celestina specialized in the sale of plant protection products, agricultural, and viticulture products. In 1994, the brothers decided to open a store in Palazzolo to expand the business into other areas of Franciacorta. With the help of other family members, Evelina also brought to Palazzolo the trade of agricultural products specializing in feed and accessories for domestic animals. Making themselves known to many people in Palazzolo and surrounding areas, in fact, in 2002 they moved the store to a larger warehouse in Palazzolo to meet all the needs of their customers. In 1997, the new store in Ospitaletto was opened, where Giuseppe continued the sale of agricultural products such as plant protection products and feed for domestic and non-domestic animals, later specializing in the field of ornithology, horticulture, and floriculture. It also managed to be very successful in Ospitaletto. Today, Raineri Giovanni & C snc has three stores and two warehouses; it trades products for agriculture, horticulture, and floriculture in general, including cereals, feed, fertilizers, seeds, herbicides, and plant protection products.
