Applied Materials' Asian Environmental Initiative Cleans Up Nearly 800 Kilograms of Waste
During the United Nations World Clean-Up Day in 2025, Applied Materials launched a two-month environmental campaign across six locations in Asia. The activities covered China, Taiwan, India, South Korea, Japan, and Singapore, with 12 offline events attracting over 550 employees and their friends and families. Volunteers collaborated with multiple nonprofit organizations to clean up nearly 800 kilograms of recyclable materials and waste from land, mountains, rivers, and oceans. The initiative aims to raise environmental awareness and promote sustainable development.
