1、 The sand pumping pipe has extremely high wear resistance; the unique molecular structure of UHMW-PE products gives it exceptional sliding friction resistance. Its wear resistance is 6.6 times higher than that of ordinary alloy steel, 27.3 times higher than stainless steel, 17.9 times higher than phenolic resin, 6 times higher than nylon 6, and 4 times higher than polyethylene, greatly extending the lifespan of the pipeline. Among all plastics, its wear resistance is the best, and even many metal materials (such as carbon steel, stainless steel, brass, etc.) have lower wear resistance than it. The wear resistance of UHMW-PE is 4 to 7 times that of steel, 10 times that of polyethylene and polypropylene, and 2.3 times that of PE100, making it more effective for transporting fly ash, mineral particles, and other granules.

Its impact strength is related to molecular weight; when the molecular weight is below 2.5 million, the impact strength increases with molecular weight. It reaches a peak around 2 million, and after that, an increase in molecular weight leads to a decrease in impact strength. This is because very long molecular chains hinder crystallization, resulting in large amorphous regions in the macromolecule that can absorb significant impact energy.
