The grass silage wrapping technology is currently the most advanced silage technology. "Baling and wrapping" refers to the process of shredding harvested corn stalks, fresh forage, and other green plants, then compressing and baling them with a baler to achieve high density. After that, the bales are wrapped in silage plastic stretch film, creating a sealed fermentation environment. Under anaerobic conditions, a biochemical process of natural lactic acid fermentation is completed in 3 to 6 weeks. The finished product has an increased crude protein content, a reduced pH value, and an increased total soluble sugar content, achieving a high livestock feed intake rate.
Silage film is a functional film that helps preserve the nutritional components of plants such as grass, corn, grains, and vegetables while preventing mold growth. This film can be used directly as packaging for the aforementioned plants or first made into bags before packaging. It can also serve as a covering film for fresh grass, hay, and grains.
As a currently advanced packaging product for silage feed technology, grass silage film has been widely used in Europe, America, Australia, and other countries and regions, with over ten years of mature usage experience. Our company has introduced advanced multi-layer co-extrusion blown film production lines from Germany. The grass film we develop and produce uses imported linear low-density polyethylene and metallocene polyethylene as the main raw materials, utilizing a unique formula and process to produce five-layer co-extruded blown film.
Grass silage film is usually available in three colors: white, black, and green.
Product specifications: Specific specifications can be negotiated, and customization services are provided.
Advantages of grass silage film:
1. Low cost, quick results, and high overall benefits.
2. Good quality of silage feed. The high sealing quality of the stretch film wrapping enhances the anaerobic fermentation environment for lactic acid bacteria, improving the nutritional value of the feed, resulting in high crude protein content, low crude fiber content, high digestibility, good palatability, and an aromatic smell, significantly enhancing the quality and yield of livestock meat and milk.
3. Minimal loss and waste, with significantly reduced spoilage loss and feeding loss. Traditional silage losses can reach 20%-30%.
4. Long storage and freshness period. With good compression and sealing, it is unaffected by season, sunlight, rainfall, and groundwater levels, allowing it to be stored outdoors for 2-3 years or more.
5. Convenient storage and easy feeding.
6. Environmentally friendly and pollution-free. Due to good sealing performance, there is no phenomenon of liquid juice leakage. The packaging is appropriate, with small volume and high density, making it easy to transport and commercialize, ensuring a balanced supply and year-round use of modern livestock silage feed for large, medium, and small dairy farms, beef farms, goat farms, and breeders.
Features of Salit grass silage film:
1. Good mechanical properties.
2. Protective level up to 180KLY, effectively preventing damage caused by sunlight, especially ultraviolet rays, ensuring low light transmission and avoiding heat accumulation.
3. Consistent quality and thickness, with good distribution of 25 microns thickness in the film.
4. Good stretchability (even in warm weather and cold winters).
5. No holes during stretching.
6. Good adhesive sealing between layers.
7. Strong puncture resistance and excellent impact resistance.
8. Maintains mechanical properties for over a year even when stored outdoors.
9. Good sealing, blocking oxygen, air, and moisture penetration.
10. High load retention (for packaging integrity).
11. Ensures customers benefit from high-quality film standards, including attributes like UV resistance, puncture resistance, adhesion, and stretch (55-70%), including thickness.
12. Specified attributes guarantee good performance of the film during the packaging process, protecting and saving feed.
13. Specifically designed for packaging efficiency and long-term performance, saving valuable time.
14. The silage grass film provides tightness in all three dimensions for grass bales, meaning that the "grass bales" have more consistent strength and rigidity, allowing for much higher stacking of grass bales as they better maintain their shape.
