PP-REnvironmentally-friendly Healthy Water Supply Pipe
PP-R pipe, as a new type of pipe material, has the following performance characteristics:
1. Energy-saving: The energy consumption of PP-R pipe is only 20% of that of steel pipe, and its thermal conductivity is low [0.2W/(M.K)], only 1/200 of that of steel pipe, which can greatly reduce heat loss when used in hot water systems.
2. Corrosion-resistant, scale-free, hygienic, non-toxic: The use of PP-R pipe can eliminate the internal scaling and rust caused by the use of galvanized steel pipe, and avoid water quality "secondary pollution". Since PP-R components are pure, mainly composed of carbon and hydrogen, complying with food hygiene regulations, non-toxic, it is more suitable for transporting drinking water.
3. Heat-resistant, pressure-resistant, long service life: The long-term operating temperature of PP-R pipe can reach 95°C, and the short-term operating temperature can reach 120°C. Under the conditions of using temperature of 70°C and working pressure of 1.2MPa, the pipe can be used continuously for more than 50 years.
4. Lightweight, high strength, low fluid resistance: The density of PP-R pipe is only 1/8 of that of metal pipe, with a pressure resistance test strength of up to 5Mpa, good toughness, impact resistance. Due to its smooth inner wall, no rust, no scaling, the fluid resistance is low.

The raw material molecules of PP-R contain only carbon and hydrogen elements, without harmful and toxic elements, which are reliable and hygienic. It can be used not only for hot and cold water pipes, but also for pure drinking water systems.
2. Insulation and energy saving.
The thermal conductivity of PP-R pipe is 0.21w/mk, only 1/200 of that of steel pipe.
3. Good heat resistance.
The Vicat softening point of PP-R pipe is 131.5°C. It can reach a high operating temperature of 95°C, meeting the requirements of hot water systems in building drainage specifications.
4. Long service life.
Under the conditions of working temperature of 70°C and working pressure (P.N) 1.OMPa, the service life of PP-R pipe can exceed 50 years; at room temperature (20°C), the service life can exceed 100 years.
5. Easy installation, firm connection.
PP-R has good welding performance, and pipes and fittings can be connected by heat fusion and electrofusion, making installation convenient and joints firm, with the strength at the joint exceeding that of the pipe itself.
6. Material can be recycled.
PP-R waste can be recycled for pipe and fitting production after cleaning and crushing. The amount of recycled material does not exceed 10% of the total, and does not affect product quality.
