Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene dredging pipe characteristics:
1. The dredging pipe is lightweight, only one-eighth the weight of steel pipes; it is connected through movable flange bolts, making installation, disassembly, and transportation convenient, shortening construction time and improving efficiency. This avoids the time-consuming and labor-intensive drawbacks of repairing and replacing welded pipes after damage from external forces.
2. The dredging pipe has good flexibility, tensile strength, high strength, and elasticity. The pipe wall can be folded, compressed, and withstand internal and external impacts without cracking; the plastic pipes can connect directly and bend in water, with 4-8 pipes able to bend 360 degrees, providing good resistance against wind and waves. On land, pipes can be directly connected in areas where the surface is uneven within 30 degrees, without the need to repair or level the ground.
3. The dredging pipe has strong wear resistance, 4-8 times that of steel pipes, resulting in a longer service life; the material of the pipe is highly corrosion-resistant, remaining unchanged even after 50 years of immersion in seawater; it is UV-resistant and aging-resistant, with a lifespan of 5-8 years depending on the sand content.
4. The dredging pipe has movable metal flanges at both ends; the entire finished pipe has no welds, and the pipes are directly connected with bolts through movable flanges; the pipe mouth is lined with a steel ring to ensure that the pipe mouth does not deform, crack, or leak during long-term installation and disassembly, ensuring high efficiency in the transportation project.
5. The inner and outer walls of the dredging pipe are smooth, with an extremely low friction coefficient, providing a 20%-30% higher transportation efficiency compared to steel pipes. The temperature range for use is from -40℃ to 60℃, allowing it to adapt to harsh climate temperature changes.
6. Whether used on land or in water for long periods, the dredging pipe offers a low total project cost, high efficiency, enhanced safety, and greater convenience.
