Product Description:
The structure of GYTY53 cable is to sleeve the 250μm optical fiber into a loose sleeve tube made of high modulus material, and fill the loose sleeve tube with waterproof compound. The center of the cable core is a metal strength member. For cables with certain number of cores, a layer of polyethylene (PE) needs to be extruded on the outside of the metal strength member, the loose sleeve tube (and filling rope) is twisted around the center strength member to form a compact and circular cable core, the interstices in the cable core are filled with water-blocking filling material. A layer of polyethylene outer sheath is then extruded on the outside of the cable core, followed by longitudinal wrapping with double-sided plastic-coated steel tape (PSP) and extrusion of polyethylene sheath to form the cable.
