Loose tube layer twisted armored optical cable (GYTA/S)
Product Description:
The structure of GYTA/S optical cable is to insert 250μm optical fiber into a loose tube made of high-modulus material, and fill the loose tube with waterproof compound. The center of the cable core is a metal strengthening core, and for some fiber count cables, a layer of polyethylene (PE) needs to be extruded on the outside of the metal strengthening core. The loose tube (and filler) is twisted around the central strength member to form a compact and circular cable core, and the interstices in the cable core are filled with water-blocking filling compound. After longitudinally wrapping with corrugated aluminum tape (APL), the cable core is sheathed with extruded polyethylene for cables suitable for ducts and aerial installations.
