These parameters are not involved during the use of metal corrugated pipe components and are only directly measured during the performance testing and quality assessment of elastic components. Based on the test results, the function, quality, failure characteristics, and reliability of the components are determined.

Elastic components operate under two states; one is working under certain load and displacement conditions, maintaining load and displacement constant or with minimal change, referred to as static operation; the other usage scenario involves continuously alternating changes in load and displacement, where the component is in a cyclic operating state. Due to the different working states, the modes of damage or failure of components also vary. The elastic sensitive components in instruments mainly operate within the elastic range and are generally in a static working state, leading to a long service life, typically reaching tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of cycles. Corrugated pipe components used in engineering sometimes work in the elastoplastic range or under alternating stress conditions, resulting in service lives of only hundreds to thousands of cycles. When components are in cyclic operation, a permissible working life must be specified, along with the number of cycles, time, and frequency. The rated life of elastic components is the expected service life determined during the design, requiring that no fatigue, damage, or failure occurs during this period.
Sealing Performance of Steel Belt Corrugated Pipe Elastic Components:
Sealing performance refers to the ability of the component to prevent leakage under a certain internal and external pressure differential. When corrugated pipe components are in operation, the internal cavity is filled with gas or liquid media and is under certain pressure, thus ensuring sealing performance is essential. Methods for testing sealing performance include air pressure sealing tests, leakage tests, liquid pressure tests, and detection using helium mass spectrometers.
Temperature Range for Pingdingshan Steel Belt Corrugated Pipe:
The temperature range for metal corrugated pipe components is very wide, generally specified before the design and manufacture of elastic components. Some special-purpose corrugated pipes are subjected to liquid oxygen (-196℃) or even lower temperatures of liquid nitrogen, with pressure resistance up to 25MPa. Large corrugated expansion joints used in pipeline systems (with nominal diameters sometimes exceeding lm) require pressure resistance of 4MPa, temperature resistance of 400℃, and certain corrosion resistance stability. The temperature adaptability of elastic components depends on the temperature resistance properties of the elastic materials used. Therefore, selecting appropriate elastic materials with suitable temperature performance parameters according to the temperature range of the elastic components is essential for manufacturing qualified corrugated pipe components.
