Product Material Overview
PE (high-density polyethylene) environmentally friendly drinking water pipeline, made of imported PE100 raw materials, manufactured according to GB/T13663 standard, the product has good weldability, stress crack resistance, and its performance meets international standards and national requirements.
PE pipes are mainly used for water supply and drainage pipes, mining pipes, chemical and pharmaceutical sewage and sand slurry and other solid or mixed media transportation, with 25% less internal resistance than metal pipes, greatly improving transportation efficiency.
PE has rich sources of raw materials. From the molecular formula structure (C2H4), the molecular structure of PE is a simple polymer. In the development of PE pipes, it constantly overcomes its own shortcomings. The heating fusion of PE pipes requires certain operating space and skilled operating techniques. Later, the electric fusion socket was invented, which connects two pipe sections or fittings through an electric fusion socket, which is used for connecting PE pipes in pipe trenches or in narrow construction spaces. The material properties of PE pipes are also improving, from PE63, PE80 to PE100, and will develop to PE115 in the future. PE100 means that this grade of PE material can maintain a low strength of 10Mpa after 50 years at 200°C (MRS). PE80 is 8.0Mpa. With the improvement of PE material grades, the wall thickness of the pipe using PE115 should be lower than that of the pipe using PE100, which reduces the wall thickness of PE pipes while meeting the requirements, reducing the amount of PE material used, reducing costs, and facilitating the application of PE pipes in large-diameter pipes.
Heating is required for the connection of PE pipes, and a certain cooling time is also required. Each welding process takes about 20 minutes. The larger the diameter of the pipe, the longer the heating and cooling time, so the installation period of PE pipes is relatively extended.
