Product Introduction
Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene Sheet has the following advantages:

6. Hygienic and non-toxic (odorless, non-toxic, and harmless to the human body)

 
Product Characteristics

    Excellent wear resistance, good low-temperature impact resistance, self-lubrication, non-toxic, water-resistant, chemical-resistant, and heat resistance superior to general PE. The disadvantage is low heat resistance (heat distortion temperature), poor processing moldability, and the surface hardness, rigidity, and creep resistance are not as good as general engineering plastics, with a relatively large expansion coefficient. UHMWPE has poor fluidity and extremely high viscosity in the molten state, presenting as a rubber-like highly elastic body, which could only be molded using compression and sintering methods in the early days, but can now also be processed using extrusion, injection molding, and blow molding methods.
Mechanical properties are higher than those of general high-density polyethylene. It has outstanding impact resistance, stress crack resistance, high-temperature creep resistance, low friction coefficient, self-lubrication, excellent chemical corrosion resistance, fatigue resistance, noise damping, and nuclear radiation resistance, etc.
Operating temperature is 100-110℃. Good cold resistance, can be used at -269℃. The density is 0.935g/cm3; the product with a molecular weight of 2 million has a tensile strength of 40MPa, a tensile elongation of 350%, a bending elastic modulus of 600MPa, and a cantilever beam notched impact that cannot be broken. Wear amount (MPC method) is 20mm.
 
Application Fields

   Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene Sheet can replace materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and bronze in textile, papermaking, food machinery, transportation, medical, coal mining, chemical, and other departments. For example, in the textile industry, it can be used for shuttle devices, shuttle rods, gears, couplings, flower sweeping rods, buffer blocks, eccentric blocks, rod shaft sleeves, and other impact-resistant wear parts. In the papermaking industry, it is used for box covers, scraper boards, compression components, joints, sealing shafts for transmission machinery, guiding wheels, scrapers, filters, etc.; in the transportation industry, it is used for liners of hoppers, silos, and chutes for powdered materials.
Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene Sheet can be made into various mechanical components, including gears, worm gears, worm rods, and bearings for food machinery. In chemical engineering, it is used for pumps, valves, baffles, and filter plates. In the medical field, it can also be used for valves, short-shaped surgical parts, artificial joints, and contraceptive implants. In sports, it is used for skating floors, rolling ball lanes, skis, and parts for motorized sleds.
 
 
   The application scope is similar to that of polyamide and polytetrafluoroethylene, with wear resistance exceeding that of carbon steel, used for gears, bearings, bushings, star wheels, valves, pumps, guide rails, sealing fillers, equipment linings, sliding plates, artificial joints, etc., and fibers can be used for bulletproof vests, ropes, etc.
