Beihai Sand Suction Pipe in Guangxi

According to statistics, the average annual sediment accumulation in the Yellow River in China is approximately 400 million tons. The task of dredging and sediment management is extremely heavy. Similarly, other inland rivers and harbors in China also require dredging and sediment management. Generally, each dredging vessel needs to be equipped with 4km of sediment transport pipes. This product undergoes cantilever beam impact tests according to GB1843 standards, achieving no damage and can withstand strong external impacts, internal overload, and pressure fluctuations.

3. The sand suction pipe has excellent corrosion resistance.  

UHMW-PE has a saturated molecular structure, resulting in extremely high chemical stability. This product can resist the erosion of strong chemical substances, with only minor corrosion from certain strong acids at high temperatures. It is not corroded in other alkaline or acid solutions. It can be applied in concentrations lower than 80%, and its performance remains stable in concentrations lower than 75% and 20% nitric acid.

4. The Beihai Sand Suction Pipe has good self-lubricating properties.   

This product contains wax-like substances and has excellent self-lubrication. The friction coefficient (196N, 2 hours) is only 0.219MN/m (GB3960). Its sliding performance surpasses that of steel or brass lubricated with oil. Especially in harsh environments with dust and sediment, the self-dry lubrication properties of this product are more fully demonstrated. It not only allows for smooth movement but also protects related components from wear or scratches.

5. The sand suction pipe has unique low-temperature resistance.   

This product has excellent low-temperature resistance, with its impact resistance and wear resistance remaining virtually unchanged at temperatures as low as -269 degrees Celsius. It is currently an engineering plastic that can operate at near-zero temperatures. Additionally, it has a wide temperature suitability, capable of functioning long-term in temperatures ranging from -269℃ to 80℃.

6. The sand suction pipe is not prone to scaling.   

Due to its low friction coefficient and non-polarity, this product has excellent surface non-adhesion and high smoothness. Existing materials typically scale in media with a pH value above 9, but this product does not scale, which is significant for coal-fired power plants using it in fly ash discharge systems. It is also very suitable for crude oil, slurry, and other transport pipelines.

7. The sand suction pipe has a long service life. 

The unsaturated genes in the molecular chain are few, with a fatigue resistance greater than 500,000 cycles, excellent resistance to environmental stress cracking (>4000h), more than 2 times that of PE100, and can maintain over 70% of its mechanical performance even after around 50 years of underground use.

8. The Beihai Sand Suction Pipe is easy to install.   

The ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW----PE) pipes have a unit pipe weight that is only one-eighth that of steel pipes, making loading, unloading, transportation, and installation more convenient, and reducing labor intensity for workers. The UHMW-PE pipes have extremely strong anti-aging properties, lasting for 50 years without aging. They can be installed above ground or buried underground.
