High Density Polyethylene, abbreviated as “HDPE”. HDPE is a thermoplastic resin with high crystallinity and non-polar characteristics. The original state of HDPE appears milky white, with a certain degree of translucency in thin sections. PE has excellent resistance to most chemicals used in daily life and industry. Certain types of chemicals can cause chemical corrosion. This polymer does not absorb moisture and has good water vapor resistance, making it suitable for packaging applications. HDPE has excellent electrical properties, especially with high dielectric strength, making it very suitable for wires and cables. Medium to high molecular weight grades have excellent impact resistance, even at low temperatures down to -40F.
HDPE is a thermoplastic polyolefin generated from ethylene copolymerization. Although HDPE was introduced in 1956, this plastic has not yet reached a mature level. This versatile material continues to develop new uses and markets.

In the field of slurry transport, compared to steel pipes, HDPE pipes exhibit better wear resistance, indicating a longer service life and better economic efficiency.
