Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene 8 inch mud pipe characteristics:

The following four types of pipes made of different materials were tested under the same pipe diameter, flow rate, test materials, and concentration conditions. The average annual wear thickness:
1、Fiberglass reinforced polypropylene pipe average annual wear thickness 11.5424mm/year;
2、Engineering grade polypropylene pipe (PP) 13.5828mm/year;
3、Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene pipe (UHMW---PE) 5.0104mm/year;

The test results show that the wear resistance of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) pipes is more than seven times that of steel pipes, demonstrating the unique molecular structure of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene that provides excellent resistance to sliding wear.
