阿联酋PLA产品正式打入沙特市场，押注PLA行业长期爆发

6月21日至24日，阿联酋生物科技（Emirates Biotech）将在2026年沙特塑料与石化展览会上展出其产品。这一事件也标志着Embio PLA系列产品正式进入沙特市场。

这充分体现了植物基生物聚合物在包装材料、食品用品、消费品、3D打印等领域中的环保优势，它们可以被广泛应用于各种日常产品中。

公司的首席商务官François de Bie表示，这次活动是了解沙特阿拉伯在塑料产业及可持续发展领域快速发展态势的重要机会。“沙特阿拉伯是一个充满潜力、发展迅速的可持续材料市场。像PLA这样的生物聚合物有助于沙特实现其2030年愿景中的可持续发展目标；它们能够推动社会向更加循环、更可持续的材料使用方式转型。”

2026年4月，该公司首席执行官Marc Verbruggen接受媒体采访时表示，受当前环境影响，因物流挑战与安全考量，建设工作已临时暂停。我们PLA工厂规划产能约8万吨，计划2028年投产，目标是至少运营1座、力争2座PLA生产装置。当前，全球塑料年产量约2–3亿吨，而PLA仅约50–60万吨，未来预期PLA将大幅增长至百万吨级。
