Xiaomi Auto Revenue Surpasses Xiaomi Phones Domestically: Side Business Becoming Main Business
Recently, an automotive blogger revealed that Xiaomi Auto's domestic revenue in the 35th week (August 25 to August 31) has surpassed Xiaomi smartphone's domestic business revenue for the same period.
Data shows that Xiaomi Auto's weekly delivery volume surpassed 10,000 vehicles for the first time, reaching 11,880 units, ranking second on the weekly delivery list among new car manufacturers.
Among them, 6,340 units of the Xiaomi SU7 series were delivered, including 3,680 units of the Standard version, 1,120 units of the Pro version, 1,030 units of the Max version, and 510 units of the Ultra version. For Xiaomi’s first SUV model, the YU7 series, 5,540 units were delivered, with the Max version accounting for 3,170 units, nearly 60% of the total deliveries for this model.
Based on the prices of various Xiaomi car models, without considering optional configurations, Xiaomi's automotive revenue last week is expected to exceed 3.5 billion yuan.
The data shows that from January to July 2025, Xiaomi performed steadily in the domestic smartphone market, securing a top-three position with approximately 17% market share. Along with Huawei and vivo, Xiaomi leads the domestic brand segment.
According to Canalys data, Xiaomi's sales in the Chinese market reached 13.3 million units in the first quarter of 2025, a year-on-year increase of 40%, while sales in overseas markets declined by 8.7% during the same period.
Industry analysts point out that Xiaomi Auto’s comprehensive breakthroughs in delivery volume, average price, and brand momentum have enabled it to surpass the domestic revenue of its smartphone business in the short term.
This change not only reflects consumers’ high recognition of Xiaomi’s “Smartphone x EV x Home” ecosystem, but also indicates that smart electric vehicles are gradually becoming a new growth pillar for Xiaomi Group.
