On April 16 this year, the Wenjie M8 was officially launched, with a retail price ranging from 359,800 to 449,800 yuan, offering 6 versions for consumers to choose from. After its launch, the car performed outstandingly in the market, with cumulative pre-orders exceeding 80,000 units.

The following is the 2025 Extended Range Ultra Edition priced at 449,800 RMB, 310km 6-seater version, with sales of 4,760 units in June; the 5-seater version priced at 429,800 RMB, with sales of 3,437 units in June.

In contrast, the 2025 Extended-Range Max version 201km 5-seater priced at 359,800 yuan and the 6-seater version priced at 369,800 yuan performed poorly in sales in June, with only 225 and 177 units sold respectively, making them the two least popular versions among consumers.

According to June's terminal sales data, the AITO M8 was sold in a total of 290 cities, with a wide distribution range.

Shenzhen, with a sales volume of 984 vehicles, ranks at the top. As a frontier of technological innovation in China, consumers in this city have always been at the forefront of accepting smart cars. At the same time, Shenzhen's large middle class and entrepreneurial community have a strong demand for high-end SUVs that cater to both business receptions and family travel.

Following closely are Chengdu (894 vehicles) and Chongqing (799 vehicles), showcasing the consumption potential of major cities in western China. The complex terrain of Chongqing demands higher vehicle power performance, and the strong output and extended range advantages of the AITO M8's extended-range system allow it to navigate the mountainous city roads with ease.

In the Yangtze River Delta region, the sales performance in cities such as Hangzhou (744 units), Suzhou (331 units), and Ningbo (320 units) highlights the consumption characteristics of areas with active private economies. Hangzhou consumers' enthusiasm for smart technology is consistent with that of Shenzhen, while the entrepreneur groups in Suzhou and Ningbo place greater emphasis on the business attributes of vehicles. Guangzhou (774 units) and Dongguan (405 units) in the Pearl River Delta form another tier of consumption. As a major automotive industry hub, consumers in Guangzhou have a stronger ability to discern vehicle quality. Dongguan, on the other hand, relies on its large middle-class population accumulated through manufacturing, viewing the 5-seat version priced at 379,800 yuan as a cost-effective choice suitable for both business and family use.

The sales breakthroughs in central and western provincial capitals such as Wuhan (556 vehicles), Xi’an (536 vehicles), and Zhengzhou (451 vehicles) reflect the accelerated consumption upgrade in inland regions.

From a provincial perspective, the Wenjie M8 has sales in 31 provinces and cities. Among them, Guangdong Province leads with a sales volume of 3,467 vehicles, becoming the largest market for the Wenjie M8 nationwide. As one of the most economically developed regions in China, Guangdong has a large and active automobile consumer market, with consumers showing a high acceptance of new energy vehicles and strong purchasing power.

Zhejiang and Jiangsu follow closely with sales of 1,991 and 1,547 vehicles, respectively.
