Scope of Investigation and Schedule

According to an announcement on the UK government’s official website, the UK Trade Remedies Authority has initiated an investigation into linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) imported from the United States. The case was initiated following a complaint filed by Ineos Olefins & Polymers, whose production facility is located in Grangemouth, Scotland.

The authority will investigate whether imports from the United States are being dumped and whether such dumping has caused injury to INEOS Olefins & Polymers. The announcement said the company represents all of the UK’s domestic production capacity for this product category.

Relevant affected enterprises (importers, downstream processors, etc.) may register to participate in the investigation through the public docket before July 16, 2026. After the deadline, subsequent evidence submission and rebuttal procedures will be restricted.
