These composite materials are known as "weight loss" tools, and their application in the lightweight market has received considerable attention.

According to reports, recently the Fourth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation's Kangben Company successfully developed a carbon fiber composite shell product for permanent magnet motors and signed orders for over 5,000 pieces. This motor protective shell is used to protect the permanent magnets and internal structures of the motor, preventing damage from the external environment. It also provides electromagnetic shielding, heat dissipation, and safety protection, ensuring that the generator operates reliably and smoothly at high speeds, achieving continuous and stable output of electrical energy.

As a lightweight, corrosion-resistant, high-strength, high-modulus high-temperature fiber, carbon fiber and its composites are known as "weight loss" tools, and their application in the lightweight market has attracted significant attention. According to Open Source Securities, in recent years, countries around the world have widely used carbon fiber composites in drone manufacturing. The "Low Altitude Economic Development Trend Report" released by the China Low Altitude Economic Alliance predicts that by 2030, the number of eVTOLs in China is expected to exceed 100,000. Based on the empty weight of the XPeng Huaitian Traveler X2 with battery being 560 kg, the carbon fiber composite weight accounting for 70%, and the carbon fiber content in the carbon fiber composites being 35%, the 100,000 eVTOLs are expected to drive a cumulative consumption of 14,000 tons of carbon fiber. As low-altitude economic policies continue to strengthen, commercialization is expected to accelerate, further driving the growth of carbon fiber consumption.
