Snow peak makes first foray into cooling functional apparel with "active cooling" technology cool clothing

In the era of extreme heat, Snow Peak has introduced “wearable coolness” and recently launched its “Cooling System Wear” series of cooling apparel designed to make outdoor activities more comfortable. The product lineup includes four types of products designed to help cope with the summer heat: a fan-equipped vest featuring an industry-first function, a water-flow vest that circulates water through a tank and pipes, a cloak that provides a cooling sensation when worn after being soaked, and a versatile stainless steel cooling agent that can be used with clothing.

By combining the contact cooling sensation generated by the Peltier effect with the evaporative cooling provided by the fan, an efficient cooling effect is achieved. Additionally, with the industry's first design capable of simultaneously driving six Peltier modules and a fan module, it delivers superior cooling performance beyond previous products, offering more comfortable protection for outdoor activities in the scorching summer heat. The fabric uses Taslan nylon, which has a soft touch similar to natural fibers. Even with the equipment installed, the design naturally integrates into everyday life and camping scenes. The water-cooled cooling system circulates cold water from the rear water tank through the pipes inside the vest using a water pump.
