Ruixun Biomaterials Completes Mechanical Completion of First Commercial-Scale Bio-Based THF and PTMEG Plant, Launches New Brand

This milestone marks a significant step for Ruixun Biology in the production of fossil-fuel-free materials, demonstrating the company's commitment to providing high-performance renewable solutions to the global market.

The facility, located in Qidong City, Jiangsu Province, employs proprietary process technology independently developed by Ruixun Bio. With a total investment of RMB 10 billion, the plant is planned for construction in three phases, targeting a total annual production capacity of 500,000 metric tons of bio-based materials. The Phase I commercial production project, with an annual capacity of 50,000 metric tons of bioTHF and bioPTMEG, has now reached mechanical completion and is expected to commence its first production in the second half of 2026.
