Recycling Short Fiber Enterprise Digitalization Case: Hangzhou Benma Smart Green Factory Project
As a benchmark in the recycled short fiber industry, the Hangzhou Benma project has paved the way for the "digitalization + low-carbonization" upgrade of the recycling industry, providing a systematic transformation sample for traditional manufacturing from equipment modification to full-chain control.
The Hangzhou Benma Low Carbon New Material Intelligent Green Factory project is located in the Dangshan Industrial Park, Xiaoshan District, and is a demonstration project for the transformation of production and manufacturing methods in Zhejiang Province. It has been selected as one of the "Top 10 Low Carbon Application Scenarios in Hangzhou for the year 2024".
This project is the first case in the recycled short fiber industry to deeply integrate digital twin visualization with energy management for precise visual management of the entire production process. Based on a digital twin engine, it faithfully recreates a digital twin green smart factory according to the production process flow of recycled polyester staple fiber in virtual space. It achieves twin presentations of equipment at various stages in the entire factory, real-time display of operational status, and bidirectional truthful mapping between the virtual and physical realms.

The project adopts multiple innovative energy-saving technologies such as efficient continuous heating drying, multi-hole nozzle regeneration polyester spinning, and flash steam reutilization. Additionally, it reduces the consumption of non-renewable resources like petroleum by recycling waste PET in the raw materials, which can reduce annual greenhouse gas emissions by up to 100,000 tons at the source.
