Pulit joins hands with Xpeng to create a better future
On March 14, 2025, Pritt conducted an exclusive exhibition and in-depth exchange of products at the Xpeng Intelligent Industrial Park. This exhibition received strong support from senior leaders on both sides, not only showcasing a wide range of new materials from Pritt but also facilitating comprehensive communication and alignment for various application scenarios of Xpeng. It was a profound demonstration of both parties strengthening their strategic cooperation and advancing hand in hand.
As a leading new material enterprise in the country, at this exhibition, Pret presented a comprehensive display of the latest technologies and system solutions across all aspects, including automotive interior and exterior, thermal management and three-electric materials, thermoplastic elastomers, recycled low-carbon materials, and special engineering materials. As one of the core material suppliers for Xpeng Motors, Pret's materials cover multiple models such as M03, P7, G6, and G9, supporting Xpeng Motors' continuous innovation and development in the intelligent vehicle field. During the exhibition, several senior executives from Xpeng Motors visited and provided guidance, with a steady stream of visitors, and the Pret team accompanied them throughout for exchanges.
In the application of new energy vehicles, the focus is on lightweight materials, high performance, and low-carbon environmental protection. At the exhibition, there was a strong interest in light-transmitting PP, soft-touch materials, imitation velvet materials, injection-molded skin materials, and carbon fiber reinforced materials, among others. Light-transmitting PP materials have excellent optical properties, good rigidity-toughness balance, and outstanding overall performance, bringing visual presentation to automotive interiors and exteriors while also offering excellent performance, achieving a harmonious unity of function and aesthetics; soft-touch materials not only take into account low gloss in appearance and softness in touch but also have a good rigidity-toughness balance, can be injection molded to reduce costs, and are environmentally recyclable; TPE elastomer materials have excellent weather resistance, elasticity, and softness, enabling the injection molding of various soft skins, greatly reducing costs and achieving recyclability; carbon fiber reinforced materials have high strength and lightweight characteristics, effectively reducing vehicle weight and improving range while maintaining high performance.
In terms of the application of special engineering materials, Polyplastics provides a range of high-performance material solutions, including reinforced PPS, PPA, PPO, PEEK, LCP, and others, which were also highly focused on at the exhibition. These materials can be widely applied in the thermal management and three-electric fields of automobiles, such as in components like electromagnetic water pumps, coolant pipes, solenoid valves, radiators, battery casings, and cell supports, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of vehicles. In the field of electronic communications, they are equally indispensable key materials, ensuring the rapid response, stability, and efficiency of electronic communications.
In the application of low-carbon materials, Pret actively responds to the development trend of the circular economy, develops low-carbon and environmentally friendly recycled materials, and showcased the PRET one-stop circular recycling solution at this exhibition. Starting from the recovery of raw materials for recycled materials, through special technical processing, it ultimately achieves modified applications, establishing a mature full-industry-chain development model, and walks side by side with customers on the path of low-carbon emission reduction, moving steadily forward.
Looking to the future, Pret not only will continue to deepen its comprehensive applications in the new energy vehicle sector, but with its extensive accumulation in material research and development as well as application, the company's various special engineering materials and lightweight materials will play a more significant role in the fields of low-altitude flight and robotics. Pret is confident in providing innovative material solutions for these emerging areas, helping related industries reach new heights. We look forward to exploring with Xpeng more practical applications of new materials in areas such as intelligent driving, intelligent manufacturing, and smart connectivity, bringing consumers a more convenient, environmentally friendly, and intelligent travel experience.
