India to Continue Anti-Dumping Duty on Chinese PET at $200.66 per Ton

On June 19, the Department of Revenue under India’s Ministry of Finance issued Notification No. 12/2026-Customs (ADD), stating that it will continue to impose anti-dumping duties on “polyethylene terephthalate resin with an intrinsic viscosity of 0.72 deciliters per gram or higher” (PET), falling under tariff headings 39076110, 39076190, 39076930 and 39076990, originating in or imported from the People’s Republic of China.

The anti-dumping duty shall take effect from the date of publication of this notification in the official gazette (June 19) and will last for five years (unless revoked, replaced, or modified earlier), and shall be paid in Indian currency. According to the table above, the anti-dumping duty is 200.66 USD per ton.
