Huawei Qiankun | Yi Jing X9 Large Six-Seat SUV Announces Industry-First Rear Ceiling Soft Light Screen

IT Home, April 27 — The 2026 Beijing International Auto Show opened on April 24. YiJing Auto, a premium new energy vehicle brand co-developed by Dongfeng Motor and Huawei Qiankun, made its debut at the show, unveiling the global premiere of its first flagship large six-seater SUV, the YiJing X9.

According to the official announcement from Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Automotive Solution,Yijing X9 will feature the industry’s first rear overhead soft-light screen., boasting "clear even in strong light."

The video shows that the Yijing X9 features a ceiling-mounted screen above a row of seats, enabling rear passengers to enjoy entertainment. Additionally, a large panoramic sunroof is installed above the rear seats, equipped with a physical sunshade. According to official information, this ceiling-mounted screen adopts a soft-light design, offering anti-glare performance even under strong light.

According to IT Home, as the brand's inaugural model, the YiJing X9 debuts with Huawei's Qiankun ADS 5 intelligent driving system and comes standard across all trims with an 896-line dual-path imaging-grade LiDAR, featuring L3-level hardware and software redundancy capabilities.

In terms of the cockpit, the Yijing X9 is among the first models to feature the Harmony Space 6 cockpit system. The front row is equipped with dual 17.2-inch “Butterfly Feather” synchronized displays, supporting independent NFC interaction on both screens. It also integrates the HUAWEI XSCENE in-vehicle laser projector, enabling immersive multi-mode viewing experiences. The Xiao Yi intelligent agent and AI multimodal perception system are also onboard, enabling functions such as in-cabin anti-pinch detection and child-left-behind alerts.

In terms of chassis, the new vehicle comes standard across all trims with the Chitu platform powered by the HUAWEI XMC Qiankun Digital Chassis Engine, featuring an all-aluminum chassis tuned by a European master engineering team.

On the safety front, the Yijing X9 is equipped with Huawei's Qiankun CAS 5.0 comprehensive safety system, featuring a body constructed with 2400MPa ultra-high-strength hot-stamped steel and a triple-layer bullet-resistant battery armor design.

In terms of body dimensions, the Yijing X9 measures 5301mm in length, 2015mm in width, and has a wheelbase of 3120mm. It is one of the few flagship models among large six-seater SUVs with a length exceeding 5.3 meters, and it is expected to be priced around 500,000 yuan. According to the plan, the Yijing brand will launch 5 new models over the next three years, gradually building a complete high-end product matrix.

In terms of channel development, Yijing has established a sales network across 80 cities nationwide and plans to open over 300 “Yijing’s Home” experience stores. According to the company, 80% of these stores are directly transformed or rebranded from former BBA (BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi) dealerships, and 60% of its dealer partners rank among the nation’s top 100 dealers.
