Based on the projected area, weight, and material of the molded product, as well as the mold dimensions and ejection stroke, select an appropriate injection molding machine. While ensuring the molding quality of the product, also consider the economic efficiency of the molded product.

Main technical parameters of the injection molding machine:

Clamping force, maximum injection volume, maximum mold thickness and minimum mold thickness, mold opening stroke, tie bar spacing, ejection stroke and ejection force.

The technical requirements for selecting an injection molding machine suitable for molded products can be divided into the following points:

Clamping forceThe product's projected area multiplied by the mold cavity pressure must be less than or equal to the clamping force, P_clamp ≥ QF_cavity pressure.

Maximum injection doseThe product weight is less than the maximum injection volume. The product weight is 75-85% of the maximum injection volume.

Injection molding machine mold thicknessThe mold thickness range of an injection molding machine is the interval between its maximum and minimum values. The maximum mold thickness of the mold must be less than or equal to the maximum mold thickness of the injection molding machine; the minimum mold thickness of the mold must be greater than or equal to the minimum mold thickness of the injection molding machine.

Mold transfer processMold opening distance = mold thickness + product height + ejection distance + space for removing the product.

The mold-to-mold distance is less than the mold moving stroke.

Rod spacingThe mold position is installed; mold length * width ≤ tie bar distance.

Ejection stroke and pressureEjection distance and pressure of the product < Ejection stroke and pressure of the injection molding machine.
